Lois has been told she is vibrant and full of color. Sometimes she believes that. Other times she struggles to accept it, but is slowly learning to believe what God says about her.

This bird is her whimsical reminder to fully be who she is deep inside, and who God intended her to be. It reminds her that fear is a liar and she should not be afraid to embrace who she is created to be, in all of her uniqueness.

This sits in her office to represent what life has waiting to explore, without fear.
This is one of Lois's favorite pictures from her childhood. Her dad took the photo and captured that raw, carefree laugh that comes from the heart.

She keeps this photo as a reminder to never stop laughing. Life can be heavy sometimes, even dark, but searching for the joy, blessings, and laughter can make all the difference.

When you need to look at the bright side, come back and laugh with her.

Self-Portraits for Living a Full Life

Lois took this picture of the "Made in his Image" painting she references in her book, God Waits: Faith from the Back Pew.

When she feels insignificant or forgets she is valued, this serves to remind her she is a Daughter of the King. God loves her as completely and unconditionally as He loves you. You are precious.

Imagine yourself in the picture.
